Parts-and-labour repair costs rose fastest in Philippines (+42% over 2015–2024). EV repair costs are rising more slowly than ICE across every market.

Built from market-level repair-cost CPI series. The gap matters for multi-year warranty pricing: a five-year term written today is exposed to several more years of this trend. EV indices rise more slowly (fewer wear parts), which the projection reflects out to 2030.
